What’s Good 206: Networking Event Coverage
I was volunteering for the Seattle non-profit What’s Good 206 to cover the red carpet at a networking event.
We had planned a two camera shoot, but didn’t end up having the second camera. Fortunately, I had a full camera kit, and by staying shoulder mounted and pulling focus on the fly we were able to get coverage of all the interviews we wanted. This shoot was a good break from commercial work – the natural light coming through huge windows into the hall kept changing as the sun set, and without lights or even a dedicated setup area, this event was good practice for “run and gun” shooting.
